The Leaf:  A New Zealand symbol of peace.

The Koru: Represents beginnings and growth.

The Eternal Flame:  Denotes Clarrie’s favourite quote in reference to Rua:  “The greater part in us will never die.”

The Two Parts:  A reflection of the harmony between Rua and Clarrie.

S:  Stands for the family name ‘Stevens’

Shadow:  Represents a reflection of their lives.

Colour - Greenstone:  Gemstone of NZ.
